Kemelios, Negroamaro, Malvasia Vetrere, 2019

Kemelios is the prestigious "Rosso Salento" from Vetrere, representing a classic southern blend of Negroamaro and Malvasia Nera. While many Puglian wines focus on single-varietal power, Kemelios is an exercise in the traditional art of the blend, where the structure of Negroamaro meets the aromatic elegance of Malvasia.

The 2019 vintage is currently in a "sweet spot" for drinking. It was a balanced year in Salento that allowed for long hang-times, resulting in sophisticated tannins and a complex tertiary profile.
