Rospiglioso is an elegant expression of Cesanese, the most iconic red grape of the Lazio region, produced by Famiglia Cotarella. Specifically, this wine falls under the Cesanese del Piglio DOCG, the first and only DOCG in Lazio, which is dedicated to this ancient and noble variety grown on the volcanic and limestone hills south of Rome.

The 2022 vintage showcases the Cotarella family’s ability to take a historically rustic grape and elevate it into a wine of contemporary refinement and balance.
